Oxford University LGBTQ+ Society

Welcome to the official website of the Oxford University LGBTQ+ Society! This site has information about our wide range of events and activities throughout the year, as well as the welfare services we provide, and general guides to LGBTQ+ life in Oxford. To stay up to date with the society, like our Facebook page and follow our Twitter.

If you friend Tuesgay Night on Facebook they’ll invite you to our events automatically. There are also secret Facebook groups for several of our identity groups – contact our Trans, Bi/Pan, BME, Ace, or Graduate Reps as appropriate.

To officially join our membership and mailing list, please complete the form on the right hand side of the page or send a blank email lgbtq-mail-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk. You will then receive our weekly email during term time.

We also have a separate grad mailing list; to join this send a blank email to lgbtq-grad-subscribe@maillist.ox.ac.uk.

We put on regular social events that will help you make strong friendships and enjoy yourself – see the Events page for more details. We also provide a number of welfare services both online and in person. Please don’t hesitate to contact either of our Welfare Reps – womenswelfare@oulgbtsoc.org.uk is the only working welfare rep email account at present.

We are not a campaign group – OUSU runs their own autonomous campaign. Check them out here.

n.b. The official name of the society is “The Oxford University LGBTQ+ Society”. However, having “+” in our url proved to be beyond the skill of our IT Rep. They apologise unreservedly for any offence caused, but unfortunately see no way in which they can rectify the situation.
